Every review, ranking and comparison on the Zovapo blog starts with the same question: would we hand this device to a customer standing in front of us? This page explains exactly how we test, how we score, and where our money comes from — so you can judge our recommendations with full context.
What we test
We test every disposable vape, pod system and nicotine pouch line we stock, plus the discontinued models customers still ask about. Devices are used the way real customers use them: carried daily, charged with ordinary USB-C wall plugs, and vaped across their whole tank life — not just the first hundred puffs.
How we score
Puff counts. The number on the box is a lab rating. We report both the rated count and what it translates to in realistic daily use, and we say so when a device falls short of its rating.
Flavor. Flavors are scored within their family (ice, fruit, candy, tobacco, beverage) rather than against each other, and menthol strength is rated on a 1–5 coldness scale so “ice” means the same thing in every article.
Value. We compute price per 1,000 rated puffs for every device we compare, using our own live store prices, so value claims stay checkable.
Reliability. Auto-draw response, coil consistency late in tank life, battery behavior on charge, and screen/indicator accuracy.
Where the products come from
Test units come from our own inventory, sourced from authorized U.S. distributors — the same stock we sell. We do not accept sponsored placements, and no brand pays to appear in a ranking.
Our disclosure

How rankings stay current
