Most shops build a catalog off a margin sheet. We hand the decision to the people who actually use the devices — a small group of our longest-standing customers who get the first look at anything we are considering adding, at a price kept for them alone.
Our buyers can read a spec sheet as well as anyone. What a spec sheet will never tell us is how a device feels on day nine, whether the flavor still holds up halfway down the tank, or whether the screen quits after a week in a pocket. Only somebody living with the thing knows that. That is what an Insider brings, and it is why the call is theirs and not ours.

What being an Insider gets you
The first look
You see a device while it is still being decided on, not six months after everyone else has one.
The Insider price
Set per round and reserved for the panel — on a device listed at $17.99, an Insider pays $11.99. No code to enter; it appears when you are signed in.
Influence that actually lands
Your scorecard is read by the person who signs the purchase order. If the panel says no, that is the end of it — we do not carry the product, however good the margin looked.
Your words reach the factory
Every supplier gets a written report of what the panel found. Praise and complaints both, in your own words, with your name kept out of it.
What we ask in return
One thing: once you have lived with the device, fill in a short scorecard. Five ratings, a few yes/no questions, and what you liked and did not. Three minutes. It goes straight to our buying team, and your star rating and comments are also posted on the product page as an Insider tester review (first name and last initial only). Every scorecard is posted, good or bad.
Honest feedback is required. Positive feedback is not. We are not asking anyone to endorse anything. Low scores, complaints and a flat “do not carry this” are worth more to us than praise — they are the reason the panel exists, and the whole arrangement is worthless if you soften what you think. Nothing you write can cost you your place.
Your scorecard becomes a public review on the product page, whatever the rating. We mark it as coming from an Insider so other shoppers know you paid an Insider price for it, and we never change your words or your stars.
How a round works
- We shortlist a device. Compliance, build quality and landed cost all have to check out before it goes anywhere near the panel. Insiders are asked to judge the things a buyer cannot: flavor, draw, how it holds up.
- Insiders get first refusal. The device goes live at its regular price for everyone. Signed-in Insiders see their own price on the same page — one unit each, while spots last.
- You live with it. A week or two. Use it the way you normally would, not the way a reviewer would.
- You file the scorecard. We email you the link when it lands.
- The panel decides. Yes, and it earns a permanent place in the catalog. No, and we drop it — and the supplier is told exactly why.

House rules
- Two active tests at a time, three per calendar month. Spots are limited and we would rather spread them around.
- The Insider price covers one unit per person per product. Buy as many more as you like at the regular price.
- Claim a unit and never send feedback and you will get a reminder. Miss it twice and your access pauses for 30 days. Miss it three times and you come off the panel. This is only ever about missing feedback — never about what the feedback said.
- Normal checkout applies: 21+ age verification, US shipping only, and the usual state restrictions.
How to become an Insider
Insiders are invited, in small batches, by hand. It is not something you can buy into or sign up for, and there is no fee — we pick people whose judgment we want in the room. We look for customers who:
- are age-verified and 21 or older,
- have ordered from us more than once and bought something in the last six months,
- have an account in good standing, and
- will write two honest sentences rather than click five stars and leave.
That last one carries more weight than the rest. A panel that likes everything tells us nothing, and we would rather have twenty people who will say a device is mediocre than two hundred who will not.

Questions we get asked
Are the products free?
No. Insiders buy them through normal checkout at the Insider price, with the same age verification, payment and shipping rules as anything else on the site. We do not give away nicotine products to anyone, ever.
Do I have to leave a five-star review to keep my spot?
No. Your scorecard is posted as a review whatever the rating, and no rating — one star or five — ever affects your membership. The only requirement is the scorecard, and its contents are never held against you.
What happens to what I write?
It goes to our buying team and decides whether we place the order. When results go to a supplier, your name, email and order details are never included — only the aggregated numbers and, if you allow it, anonymous quotes.
Does being an Insider change my rewards points?
No. Insider status and the rewards programme are separate. Points work exactly as they always have.
Can I leave?
Any time, no explanation needed. Email support and we will take you off the list.
