Foger Switch Pro 30K: Every Question Answered (2026)
Is Foger discontinued? What does the switch do? How long does a pod last? Is it worth it? Four straight answers, with the $2.49 number nobody advertises.
The Foger Switch Pro 30K is the most-asked-about pod system we sell, and most of the questions are the same four. This page answers them straight, with numbers you can check — including the ones that make the Switch Pro cheaper to run than almost anything else at 30,000 puffs.
Last checked: September 26, 2026. We sell this device, so treat the buying advice accordingly — but every spec and price below is one you can verify on the product page.
Are Foger vapes discontinued?
No. Foger is an active brand as of September 2026. The Switch Pro 30K is still in production, and Foger has released a newer model since — the Bit 35K, an all-in-one sealed disposable with an OLED screen.
We can tell you this from our own shelves rather than a press release: as of today we have 108 Switch Pro variations in stock across kits and refill pods, and we are still receiving new shipments.
So where does the rumor come from? Three things, none of which mean the brand is gone:
- Individual flavors sell out and get retired. With 78 pod flavors in rotation, some are always out. A shopper who cannot find one flavor at three stores concludes the whole line is dead.
- The disposable category churns constantly. Models get replaced every 6–12 months across every brand. When the Switch Pro replaced older Foger models, those older SKUs did disappear — which is not the same as the brand disappearing.
- Retailers drop brands for their own reasons. A store that stops carrying Foger looks, from the outside, exactly like a brand that stopped existing.
If a specific flavor you want is gone, that is real. The brand is not.
What does the switch on a Foger vape do?
This question has two different answers depending on which "switch" you mean, and both matter.
1. The name refers to swappable pods. The Switch Pro is not a sealed disposable. It comes apart into two pieces: a magnetic power bank dock, and a prefilled 19mL pod. When the pod runs dry you snap on a new one and keep the dock. That is the "switch."
2. There is also a mode switch on the device. It toggles between:
- Normal Mode — up to 30,000 puffs per pod
- Boost Mode — up to 18,000 puffs per pod, with more vapor and a warmer draw
Boost pulls more power per puff, so you get fewer total puffs out of the same 19mL. That trade is the whole point of having a switch: cloud now, or longevity later.
One thing to watch for while you shop: at least one major retailer lists these two numbers backwards, showing 18,000 for Normal and 30,000 for Boost. Boost mode cannot last longer than Normal mode — it burns more liquid per puff. If a listing shows it the other way round, that listing has a typo.
How long does a Foger Switch Pro last?
Two separate questions hide inside this one: how long the pod lasts, and how long the device lasts.
The pod
Each pod holds 19mL and is rated up to 30,000 puffs in Normal Mode. Puff ratings are measured under lab conditions with short, consistent draws, so treat 30,000 as a ceiling, not a promise. Real-world reports from regular daily vapers land around several weeks per pod in Normal Mode.
A useful way to think about it: if you take 500 puffs a day — heavy but not extreme — a pod rated at 30,000 gives you roughly two months. At 1,000 puffs a day, about a month. Boost Mode cuts both figures by around 40%.
The device
The dock is the part you keep. It holds an 850mAh battery, and the pod itself carries another 200mAh, for 1,050mAh in the system. It charges over USB-C, so a dead battery is a 30-minute problem, not a reason to throw the thing away.
This is the real difference between the Switch Pro and a sealed 30K disposable. When a sealed disposable runs dry, the battery, the screen, the coil and the housing all go in the bin with it. Here, only the pod does.
Is the Foger Switch Pro worth the money?
The honest way to answer this is to stop comparing the kit price to other devices and look at what the hardware actually costs you.
At Zovapo, a Switch Pro kit (dock + one pod) is $16.99. A refill pod on its own is $14.50. Subtract one from the other and the dock — battery, screen, airflow control, magnetic housing — costs $2.49.
That $2.49 is the number that matters, and it is the number nobody advertises. It means:
- Your first purchase costs $2.49 more than a bare pod.
- Every purchase after that is $14.50 for the same 30,000 puffs, because you already own the dock.
Run that out. Three months on a sealed 30K disposable at typical retail is three full devices. Three months on a Switch Pro is one $16.99 kit and two $14.50 pods — and you still own a working charger at the end of it.
Where it is not worth it: if you switch brands every few weeks, or you want something you never have to charge, a sealed disposable is simpler. The Switch Pro pays off through repeat pods, not through the first purchase.

Kit or refill pod — which should you buy?
It comes down to one question: do you already own the dock?
- New to the Switch Pro? Buy the Kit — $16.99, dock plus one pod, works out of the box. We stock 54 flavors as kits.
- Already own one? Buy Pods — $14.50 each, 78 flavors, all of them fitting the dock you already have.
A small tip that saves money later: the dock is flavor-agnostic. Buying one kit and then rotating through pods is cheaper than buying a second kit just to try a flavor that is not offered as a kit.
